For Sale: 1942 John Deere 953 6-ton Hay Wagon. Dimensions: deck 14'Lx6'Wx32"T. Box sits approximately 36" off the ground. Condition: Incredibly well-built grain box with outdoor-rated 1"solid wood siding. No rot anywhere. Solid as the day it was built 30+ years ago. This a bonified fully operational, entirely original ANTIQUE HAY WAGON. Not one cracked weld or split. Beautiful patina. Original down to the JD Lug nuts on the Vintage embossed "JD" hubs. History: (1) family owner for over 60 years. Easily will accommodate 12 people. Grain box sits on John Deere 6T 953 Running Gear with 1/4" steel angle brackets to stock mounts. All four sides are fully removeable. This gear was purchased in 1942. It was subject to minimal seasonal use hauling grain, and used for family hay rides. *This hay wagon is the IDEAL platform for hay rides because of the John Deere suspension on the axles. The spring packs and cover plates are IN PERFECT ORIGINAL CONDITION. Always barn kept. Well maintained. Freshly lubricated. Needs Nothing but upgraded AG flotation tires, some hay, a cooler with drinks and your family. Will easily accommodate a family of six or more, the dogs and all your gear. Customization, stabilization spring kits are all possible on this wagon, but the price as you see it is FIRM at $3650.00. Trades considered for quality items THAT EXCEED that value.
