• Pay Re: $25.00 per hour
• Must possess one or more of the following;
  • Minimum of three (3) years of military, law enforcement, or corrections officer experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years of employment in an armed security role

• Must possess a valid Level III Commissioned Security Officer license issued by the Ste of Texas (required) 

• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Must be 21 years of age or older

Allied Universal® is hiring an Elite Security Professional - Armed. The Elite Security Professional will conduct armed and/or unarmed foot and/or vehicle prol (interior and/or exterior). Additional duties include controlling access and egress; monitoring CCTV and alarm systems; composing reports; deterring criminal activity and misconduct.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure the facility is provided with high quality security services to protect people and property.
• Perform security prols of designed areas on foot or in vehicle
• Wch for irregular or unusual conditions th may cree security concerns or safety hazards
• Sound alarms or calls police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
• Warn violors of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensures th authorized removal of property is conducted within approprie client requirements
• Investige and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post
• Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Make emergency notificions as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders
• Make productivity and cost reduction recommendions to management
• Make recommendions for physical security surveys and post orders
• Report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances both orally and in writing
• Preserve order and act to enforce regulions and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises
• Maintain awareness and familiarity with the site-specific operions performance manual and post orders
• Use glass break tool when necessary to save children or adults stuck in hot vehicles

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Possess, or be able to obtain, any applicable ste, county and municipal licensing and permit requirements for Armed Security Officers and specific protective device and weapons qualificions
• Must be willing to be trained on, carry, and utilize, if necessary, a Taser and bon
• Must possess one or more of the following;
• Minimum of three (3) years of military, law enforcement, or corrections officer experience
• Minimum of five (5) years of employment in an armed security role
• Current employment with Allied Universal with a minimum of four (4) years armed experience
• Be least 21 years of age, or higher if required by the ste
• Maintain proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices and weapons
• Be able to work flexible schedules and respond to work assignments with little to no advance notice
• Be able to opere radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
• Demonstred ability to interact cordially and communice with the public
• Effective oral and written communicion skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

• Service in Military Occupional Specialty reled to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, comb arms) or any support role in a Comb Zone
• Gradue of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field
• Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice reled studies
• A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch
• Associe's degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service
