Chubs is a great, loving dog! He LOVES people and is very affectionate and animated with human interactions.

He is quiet and calm if you have a 1 acre plus as he was raised on a fenced acre with visibility (goat fencing).

You should consider him if you have no other male dogs and either:

A) a rural home with 1 acre+ and open style fencing where he can see out - he is a low maintenance outdoor dog if he has space to roam out and can see out!

or

B) if you don’t have space, he is great also if you can take him on jogs/walks everyday for at least 1-2 miles. This is what I currently do for him.

If you only have a regular sized yard as I now do (10k Sq ft lot or less) he needs a 1-2 mile walk or a shorter run, once a day. He needs daily exercise to be happy and quiet, he loves people and attention. If you skip walks or don't have him around you, he will let you know about while trapped in the yard with howls, cries and barks to express his displeasure.

He is a 130lb dog raised on 1.5 acres and not suited for being left alone for hours in closed in yards...Keep reading if you have an acre plus with open space and country style fencing...or plan to allow him to have access to you all the time, inside and out...

Chubs is really having a hard time adjusting from a big, 1 acre of open farm yard, to a boring .25 acre boxed in yard in a HOA in the city.. I sure would miss him, but I think he would be happier somewhere else... he needs either a lot of open space or to be with a human most of the day, or he gets sad, and I can’t have him inside the house. He's super bored with the yard situation and misses the last place where he could roam around all day and see out beyond...everybody loves him, he's a star, alpha male dog...thrives on attention and loves people, and would be great with a high energy female dog or as the only dog in the house. Not ideal to pair with other males (raised and living currently with one lazy, small female dog).

If you're interested email me and I will respond. Just note he is not a potty trained indoor dog currently, and he is not a small yard dog. Will require time or space or some combination.
