For sale: 1970 John Deere 6-Ton Farm Running Gear. Model No. 953. Location: May, TX 76857. Description: Beautiful, mechanically restored, flawless. Not one crack, tweak or bend anywhere. Matching JD 1091D 4" outside offset rims, (the perfect rims for this model). Brand new Firestone HD tubes with 9.5-15 11LT 8-ply AG Flotation tires. Fresh bearing re-pack. Fresh steering gear lube. Spindles are all beautiful. The center tube has already been pulled, cleaned, primed and painted. New grade 8 and grade 10 hardware throughout. This gear was owned by one family for 54 years. It was used exclusively as a welding equipment trailer so it spent its entire life in the barn when it was not in use. Ready for your winter build. You will not find a better running gear suited for hay ride wagons. It will extend out or compress as needed. Price: $2650.00 Firm. If we're trading, we trade to that value or in my favor, not yours.
