JD compact tractor. Put new tires on rear, changed all filters and oils plus cleaned hydraulic screen, replaced safety neutral switch, new fuel filter and replaced one hydraulic hose going to pump. Easy starting. 3 point works like it should. The problem is that when I try and shift it into gear it will die or when I shift the pto it will die. Starts right back up. I have pulled it with my 4 wheeler and unhooked it and it would shift and drive fine. Then the next time, it would die. I am not a JD mechanic and this could be something easy, I just don't want to mess it up any more than it is. Firm on price $3000 or trade for a SUV, Side x Side, Black Angus cow, or even another tractor.
