i have a heavy duty tractor mounted 3 point log splitter, looks to have a a 4" x 24" hydraulic cylinder. you could also add an electric motor or a gas/diesel engine and hydraulic pump to make a stationary or trailer mounted splitter. i have had it a long time, but it has split under 2 cords of wood from the time i bought it new. it has always been stored inside and under cover.
