In Regards to “Watch Out” Post (Abilene)

Mr. Garrett bought these black heifers from us back in March 2025. We sent him several videos of these calves, they got delivered to his place in Sydney, Texas where his wife met me, she then took several videos of the Cattle and sent them to Mr. Garrett because he was out of town. I was supposed to drop the Cattle off and give them a bill of sale, get payment and leave, but I was there for one hour so I called Mr. Garrett and told him if he wasn’t interested in the Cattle I would just load them up and take them back. He told me no and that they looked great. He said he really liked them & that they were a great set of black Heifers. After that I received payment, I left and never heard from Mr. Garrett again until one of my clients called me and told me about this disgusting post that Mr. Garrett posted earlier this week.
My client called Mr. Garrett to ask him about the post, and Mr. Garrett lied to my client and told him that the cattle were crossbred, and some of them died, and he didn’t think they were the same Cattle that he bought over the phone, but he still took them when I delivered them. He told me at the time of delivery that they were some of the best heifers that he had ever bought, and he would like to buy more when there was some more available.
I Confronted Mr. Garrett last night about the nasty post that he posted on craigslist and him not knowing that I had already talked to my client. I asked Mr. Garrett if any of the Heifers died or got sick and he told me no! He told me over the phone that they were a nice set of Heifers, but he didn’t think they matched the pictures of what he bought but he lied to my client about the death loss and the sickness. Then Mr. Garrett texted me a picture of all the calves that he had and there was 40 of them and they look pretty good.
Mr. Garrett has issues, I’ve heard from other people that he lies and starts a lot of problems. As I was told, this is not the first incident of him buying Cattle and then going behind the sellers back lying about how he got screwed.
We run a very honest and sincere Cattle company. We fit the needs to the buyers and we are always available if the buyer has questions or problems. We stand behind all of our cattle. We have been in business for years and I have many references.
