This is a TV entertainment center. Two pieces each of quality wood, Nothing wrong with either piece. We upgraded to a wall mount for our TV. However we had a 42 inch flat panel plasma, and there was more inches to spare. I would think a 47 inch would fit but nothing bigger. Units doors close fully and snap closed. Bottom piece has two drawers for storage, 4 wheels on the bottom for easy moving. There is tape holding the doors closed in the picture. These are in great condition! I can get you dimensions too.
